Program:
Thursday June 18
6.00 pm: Check in for accommodation
7.00 pm: We get together at the world’s largest cradle, information about the program.
7.30 pm: We walk up to Øverbø, the cabin where Sondre Norheim was born. Along the way we will take a break for some of Morgedal’s finest craft beer.
8.00 pm: Øverbø, Stories about Sondre – the man, the legend who completely revolutionised modern skiing.
9:00 pm: we continue on up the slopes above Øverbø towards Månin and a mountain top shelter (gapahuk) which affords amazing views of Morgedal and beyond. Here we will enjoy a barbeque and a few drinks – bring your own food and drink.
Sometime later 😊 we head back to our respective accommodation.
Friday June 19
8.00 am: Breakfast at Morgedal Hotel
9.00 am: Together with ski makers, Terje and Tarjei, we learn more about the skis and bindings which changed the skiing world.
10.00 am: Visit to the Morgedal Ski Museum (Norsk Skieventyr)
12.00 am: Lunch at the Morgedal Ski Museum
1.00 pm: Travel to Fonna Telemark Camp 2020
