Hi and thanks for your interest in Morgedal.
Morgedal Development is the small, local company behind this website. We have worked together with many different local businesses from this special litte valley to give you an overview and a small glimpse into what you might find and experience here in Morgedal. As keen travellers ourselves - we know that travel can sometimes be a hassle and that good honest information empowers people to make better decisions about where to go and what to do. It is our goal to offer you exactly that. Morgedal is a real valley - not a created tourism destination - and we hope to keep it that way. As such we hope that you will experience the real Morgedal; intimate, relaxed and unique.

Siri Hafnor is born and bred in rural Norway. A sports admininstration graduate, Siri loves travel and all outdoor pursuits and is a keen telemark skier and instructor. When Siri is not in Morgedal she is flat out busy looking after chickens, pigs and boys (not nescesarily in that order) on her lifestyle farm in Bø.

Hamish Moore is from Christchurch, New Zealand. With a background in adventure education and teaching, Hamish now lives in Morgedal with his wife and 2 small children. Passionate about being outside and active in nature - Hamish spends his free time (free time?) hiking the local hills - planning the next multisport course or ski experience.

Tarjei Gjelstad - Tarjei is the "big cheese", chairman of the board of Morgedal Development and involved in pretty much everything that is going on in Morgedal. Born and bred in Morgedal - Tarjei is a Morgedal patriot through and through and works tremendously hard to promote and share his valley with guests.

Morgedal is a natural resting place on your journey from coast to coast in southern Norway, located right by the E134 it is easy to find and being a small and compact valley you can be tucked up in a hotel bed, skiing a forest trail or exploring the exciting ski museum within minutes of arrival.

We look forward to hearing from you.
