Telemark skis allow the skier to adopt many skiing styles and can be used both uphill and downhill. As such they are ideal for touring.
Here in Morgedal we offer a range of tours for all abilities and aspirations. For example spend day one with us learning to telemark ski on our local ski slope and the following day we will take you into the back-country for a gentle and safe introduction to ski touring.
We offer full day mountain ski tours, half day tours, trips to rustic mountain cabins and guiding to the birthplace of Sondre Norheim with or without skis on. Ski touring is healthy and great fun, good for you and also the environment and takes place in beautiful mountain settings, it is also the best way to experience the natural advantages of the telemark technique - highly recommended!!
