 Morgedal Ski Slope Information
There is a ski slope literally right outside the front of the hotel. A platter lift services a slope almost 500 metres long and with a height difference of over 100 metres. This is a small and super family friendly slope with great variety of terrain, tracks and trails through the forest and offering access to cross-country trails also. As such it is ideal for learning to ski or snowboard on or for just ripping up and down with the kids. If skiing is not your thing – then there is a toboggan slope tucked in next to the main slope. Families can base themselves at the picnic area (with open fireplaces) at the bottom of the slope and keep an eye on all the action from here:
- Season start is expected to be early January through to the end of Easter (snow willing)
- The slope is open from 10.00 – 16.00 (later as the season progresses) every Saturday and Sunday and every Tuesday for night skiing from 17:30 - 20:00
- With a prebooking we are able to open the slope at other times as well for groups / special programmes etc

- Season pass info: these are an excellent deal, especially for families. The individual price is 600kr / the family deal is 600kr for the first family member – 500kr for the second member – 400kr for the third member and all remaining family members ski free. Stuff happening on the slope in 2012
Ski training.
We are running ski training – every Tuesday afternoon from 15.00 throughout the winter. Great for kids who want to improve their skiing and for those who are interested in competing in local ski races. Training is free for MIL members otherwise it is 50kr per session for children (15 and under) 100kr for adults. Everyone is welcome! We have excellent instructors who will teach you to ski and race!
Ski races.
We will be running races sponsored by Telenor over the season. These are for anybody to take part in and are free for MIL members – everyone else pays 50kr to enter. Dates for these races are:
