BAGJUMP is back!! 25 - 27 March 2011

If you made the mistake of not coming to this event last year then here is your chance to fix that now!! We are bringing BAGJUMP back to Norway for 3 adrenaline filled days of jumping fun. This bag is amazing - I got so hooked on this last year that all I wanted to do was keep jumping and trying new tricks!!

Programme info on the right hand menu - we will offer open sessions each day so just check the start times and come along for a days great jumping at Skare Farm in Morgedal. Warm food on offer, fire pit with seating around and with good music played all days Skare will be a cool place to hang out when you are not jumping as well. BAGJUMP are coming to Norway and setting up camp here in Morgedal. 2 jump coaches and 2 technical staff working on the bag plus a team of volunteers here in Morgedal are going to give you amazing opportunity to jump, practice new moves, set up photo shoots etc with a safe and soft bag which is getting rave reviews from people from all over the world.

Skare Farm is the location for the event - a historic farm, home of ski jumping legend Svein Sollid... there are no lifts here but a wide open field full of jumps and features and a renovated barn with several awesome cinema viewing rooms where you can review your film and photo material after your session. There will also be great food available all BAGJUMP days, music and lights set up for night sessions. The relaxed atmosphere of the farm and the world renown ski history of Morgedal make for a unique location for this event.

IMPORTANT - all those who jump need to sign a liability form and if you are under 18 this needs to be signed by a parent or guardian before you can jump. Download this form here - so you can bring it signed to the event.

How can I be part of it?

Number one get yourself to Morgedal! The Morgedal Hotell is offering excellent deals during the weekend to all bag-jumpers so book yourself in there. If you need super economy accommodation - contact siri@morgedal.com and she will help you out with finding somewhere. We will be offering a number of open sessions but if there is demand there is also the opportunity to book a private session for your group, club or just as a bunch of mates wanting to have the bag all to yourselves. These sessions are typically 2 hours in length and can include coaching, photo / video shoot, food and viewing afterwards - let us know what you need by contacting us here. Morgedal BAGJUMP is for everyone!

While we may have "pro / demo" sessions which will be awesome to watch - there will also be sessions for everyone - from younger kids to "has-beens and wanna-bes" - old guys who are keen to pull some old school moves and prove they can still go big!
skier, snowboarder or telemarker - everyone who likes big air is welcome.

Last year it was Norway's turn to host BAGJUMP and what better place to debut here than Morgedal - birthplace of ski sport and home to world champion skiers and jumpers.
Ski jumping was revolutionised when Sondre Norheim started demonstrating massive jumps on much steeper landings than previously used- and his telemark heel attachment meant he could jump huge distances and stick the landings. This was the new school of ski jumping and it started here. Now we are doing it again and bringing the new "new school" back to Morgedal.

Important info: BAGJUMP require that all jumpers sign a liability form down-loadable here before they jump so that means that all jumpers under 18 years of age will need their parents signature on this form and then bring it with them.
