Most records safe in 2011
Halvor Kleivi Kjelsås IL was the only individual to set a new record in Multisport Morgedal 2011 with a very fast 43:31 in the classic short course event - even more impressive when you consider that he is only 14 years of age. Jon Flydal, team Multitude Salomon, the returning champion in the Mountain Challenge was too good for the rest of a strong field but the mega wet conditions on the run hampered his attempt at a new record there seeing him win the race comfortably in a time of 2:35:52. First women in on the long course was Cathrine Loennecken in 3:23:58. It was awesome to see so many teams compete in the classic this year and a new record was set there too with Seljord FHS running in as team winners in 44: 34. First individual women in on the classic was Anja Lid - finishing in a time of 52:44.
