Festival Accommodation and Packages

Guests joining us for the Morgedal Games Telemark Festival have 3 main accommodation options:

1. Comfort: Morgedal Hotel - a traditional Norwegian mountain hotel located right in the centre of the valley with a small ski slope literally right outside the door. Welcome to a very comfortable and warm environment with friendly staff, great food offering a wide range of amenities including a lovely indoor pool and sauna. A strong supporter and sponsor of the festival - we can offer you an excellent deal with our comfort hotel package. 2. Authentic: Morgedal Lavvo Land- sleep in a Scandinavian Lavo with a central fire for warmth and pine boughs and reindeer skins on the floor as your bed. Our "tent city" will be built right outside the ski museum and next to the Winter Olympic flame. You will need to provide your own warm sleeping bag and pad to sleep on in addition. Each Lavo sleeps up to 7 people and we can provide wall hangings etc to allow for seperate and more private sleeping spaces. Let us know what size "room" you want! Toilets and meals are available in the ski museum, Showering facilities are available at the hotel for a small charge.

Full Festival Packages:

We have put together several festival packages here that provide you with options and whichever one you choose,  they all represent excellent value for money. Be aware that transport to and from Morgedal is not included in these packages.

Homecoming Package - Budget: 1200NOK

Includes: 4 nights basic accommodation in the village hall. Guests will need to bring their own sleeping bags and mats to sleep on. Showers and toilets are provided. Plus your Festival Pass. Book this package now!

Homecoming Package - Authentic: 2200NOK

Includes: 4 nights accommodation in "Morgedal Lavvo Land", breakfast at the Ski Museum, plus your Festival Pass. Book this package now!

Festival Weekend Hotel Package: 2200NOK

Includes: 2 nights accommodation at Morgedal Hotel, breakfast and dinner (assumes a twin share room - add 320kr for a single room) and your Weekend Festival Passwhich includes - Morgedal transport shuttles, lift pass for hotel slope for festival activity, admission to party on saturday night, admission to skiers lunch and ski museum on Sunday. Transport to Morgedal

Two main airports within reach of Morgedal - Oslo Gardermoen - Oslo Torp

There are many different options for travel to Morgedal including two airports within easy driving distance; Olso Gardermoen and Sandefjørd Torp. From Gardermoen there are bus options directly to Morgedal and train options to the town of  Bø - 40 minutes from Morgedal.

From Torp there are busesthat will take you directly to Morgedal and many more that run through to Seljord which is only 15 minutes from Morgedal (we can pick you up from there for a small charge)
